Summer House In Menorca By Dom Arquitectura
Delighting in the beauty of a contemporary summer house knows no season, specifically when the summer home in question is the Dom Arquitectura project in Menorca, the second largest of the Balearic islands off the coast of Spain. Inspired by Menorca’s “tanca” architecture, the design is organized on a frame that is fully passable and based on an orthogonal blueprint; this design methodology encompasses the floors, water, trees, plants, tanca, walls and the house itself. The main hall, with two large openings on each side, operates as a mixed external-internal passageway. There are also sliding wooden slats that offset the pure, white walls that define the residence. Paint-Free Coke Can Saves Energy, Reduces Pollution

Designer Harc Lee has created a “naked” Coca Cola can that forfeits Coke’s typical bold red and white stripes in favor of au naturale silver. The aluminum can is created without using any paints or dyes, and stands to greatly reduce pollution and energy use associated with producing and recycling soda cans.
